How to adopt Annie?

If you think Annie might be a good match for you, don't hesitate to fill out our Online Adoption Application! It is in no way binding, but will show that you are interested and we can figure out is she is a good match for you.
If you are really serious, I highly recommend putting down a deposit on her, which is usually half of her adoption fee, via Pay Pal. That way she will be put on hold and we know that you are committed! If the adoption doesn't go through your deposit will be refunded.

Friends Of Homeless Animals, Inc. is an approved tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) non-profit, so your adoption fee/donation is tax deductible.

You can visit Annie on Petfinder.com
or on Dogster.com!

Annie's coming!

Well, on Saturday that is, Dec 6th. I called her owner, who due to unfortunate circumstances can't keep her, to get some more first hand info on Annie...

Annie is a 35 lbs 11 year old female purebred Boston terrier. She is a very sweet, friendly girl. She is housebroken and well behaved. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is in good health. She was recently treated for kennel cough, but is now all better. * years ago Annie was diagnosed with a Rectal Prolapse (read more about the condition here). She had surgery and had it taken care of. She did have one reoccurrence, but has had no problems since. She needs to stay on a dry, lowfat dog food to keep her stomach balanced. NO people food! As long as she is on a steady diet it is no problem.

She loves people and is good with other dogs. She is NOT, however, good with cats! She would kill a cat if given the chance. Therefore she will not be placed with a home with cats, no exceptions. Considering her hefty size and age, I don't think I would place her with very young children. Older children will be considered on a case basis.

This is the basic info. I will keep updating as Annie gets here and we get to know her better. We are very much looking forward to spending some time with her!

Adopt Annie!

Annie is the next foster dog scheduled to come stay with us! Her transport arrives Dec. 6th and I can't wait to meet her!

This is her story on Petfinder.com

This is Annie. She is 11 years old, between 35 lb, spayed & up to date on shots.

Annie is good with other dogs. She doesn't like cats. Annie loves people and kids who knows how to deal with dogs. She is a people dog. She is house broken. She has prolapsed rectum. She needs to be on dry low fat dog food (no wet or people food) to keep her bowel in order and some times takes her a little longer to potty. If you have a fanced in yard, it is not a problem.

Annie is a happy girl, who is full of life. She likes to play and sleep with you and cuddle. She is a owner surrender. Her owner lost her job and going through financial trouble. She no longer can take care of Annie. Her ower is very sad to give her up but she thinks, Annie is a such a good girl she deserves a good life.
